Slavia Prague VS Arsenal FC ~ Champions League

A goalless draw in Prague last night ensured Arsenal's place in the last sixteen of the Champions League with two group games to spare.

After a humiliating 7-0 thrashing at the Emirates a fortnight ago, Slavia were determined not to concede.

Minor injuries kept Kolo Toure and Tomas Rosicky out, but Cesc Fabregas and Alex Hleb were omitted out of choice.

Emmanuel Adebayor, Bacary Sagna, Mathieu Flamini and Emmanuel Eboue were on the bench, with the idea being not to use them unless absolutely necessary.

Personally I would have preferred a win, but an away draw in Europe is not to be sniffed at! We still came away with one point and a clean sheet.

Up The Gunners!
